What the heck do you mean by just "meh?" Why did you even bother posting that? When I say "Meh" aloud, it sounds like I'm just grunting. Why, if it is supposed to be a grunt, would you come in here and grunt at him for this? I'm assuming you don't like it, but from the sounds of "meh" you are not only implying that you dislike it but that you are better than he is for making it. It seems like you're saying "This isn't even worth my having come here to look at it." Show some respect, don't be rude, and get over yourself.
Meh
As for the skin: I don't think that the sky is the only Bungie think you used, but that's fine with me. However, I don't like the grey rocks. The rocks are there because of a landslide, and the mountainside they came out of is an orange/red color. I'd make the rocks look like a weathered version of the cliffside.

Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty good, but I would say it's less realistic then the stock coag.

Wow, that time of the month already Chad?

What a totally unprovoked attack that had absolutely nothing to do with anything. I don't know what you think 'Meh' means, but its obviously not the widespread definition I've come to know. 'Meh' sounds nothing like a grunt, nor was I implying that I'm better in any way, nor did I imply anything other than the mod is mediocre at best. You should probably look up what a word means if you don't know it, rather than attack someone for no reason.
Meh:
"The verbal equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders."
=_=

G.I.R., I would like you to consider for a moment the reasoning behind my post. Why could anybody here find "meh" rude? Is it hard to figure out? I sure don't think it is. It's a three-letter response (not even a word, mind you) that apparently gives your thoughts on the mod. The time and effort he put into this apparently wasn't good enough for you to say anything other than just "meh."
To be fair, I must confess that I have personal issues against the expression "meh." When I posted my first mod ever, the very first response I got was "meh." I found it rude, tasteless, and offensive that somebody who never even played my mod would think they're good enough to just say "meh." My "attack" (as you call it) on you no doubt partially stemmed from my belief that "meh" is rude and inappropriate.
As for what you call an "attack:" I did not attack you, I did not flame you, and everything I said was upon the condition that you used "meh" in a negative and derogatory context. If you did not use it this way, and used it in a positive way, my comments therefore had no relevance and, as you said, "had absolutely nothing to do with anything."
In conclusion, I would like an apology for your flaming me. In asking if it was "that time of the month," you were implying that I was a menstruating female. As you know, this is in every way incorrect. Why you posted this here I do not know; however, I suggest you refrain from intentionally offending and flaming myself and others in the future. I have no beef against you personally and would have written my earlier response to anybody in your place. There is no need to take it personally. The ONLY issue I have is with the expression "meh," not with you.
G.I.R., if you have any fostered negative feelings towards me, this is not my intention. Please PM me so we can work any differences out. I have no negative or hostile feelings against you whatsoever.
In general and NOT specifically to you, GIR:
I am tired of people at halomods.com making this an increasingly less enjoyable place to visit through negative comments lacking feedback, one-word responses, and words that aren't' words (ex: plz hlp me 2 fix da mod). We're all old enough here to type in complete sentences, say something nice one in a while, and help people out.

GruntLeet, I'm sorry for doing this to your thread. I'll not get back off topic again.
With your mod, I suggest you use all custom-made textures. I have a tutorial in the tutorials section written to help people to make custom, seamless textures. If you have Photoshop, it shouldn't be a problem for you. When you figure out how to make the seamless textures, think of a theme and build your textures for specific areas of the map. Make sure your textures somehow add to and support your theme.
I'm sure you'll do great.

Chad sure knows how to post

But I wont try and tread on people's toes by having my own reply....
Anyway, for the mod, considering you're trying to make it a more realistic coagulation, then I suggest losing Bungie textures and at least changing the sky to another one (zanzibars? Ascension? Something....).
Now with losing the Bungie textures, I mean getting your own. Since you've made the other rocks grey, how about you make the cliff rocks gray. New grass and new dirt textures too... You could also change the base textures but they aren't such a necessity as the grass, dirt and cliffs.
Grass and dirt textures are easy to find on the internet, just don't do what others do and just straight off inject them, use Chad's tutorial for making them non-tiled and then inject them.
I wish you the best of luck.
BTW, I really like your civi hogs....I can honestly say that yours is the first one I've seen that actually looks decent.

You can always make your own sky as well
