[WIP] Halo: Modern Combat (A full Halo 2 MP map pack)

Halo 2, a really good game, Battlefield 2, another pretty good game, combine some of the game-play aspects of Battlefield 2, with the game engine of Halo 2, throw in a few other modifications and I present to you....

Halo: Modern Combat is going to be a complete Multi-Player only conversion of Halo 2, and some of the main changes will be as follows.

Our Main goal in the end is to make maps well balanced that look good and are fun to play.
  • New game-play all around.
  • Every level will be redone form the ground up and designed for more balance, and a new feel to the level.
  • New weapon modifications to help add to the balance factor.
  • Every level has new Scenery and other objectives that will force you to work as a team to reach achieve victory.
  • Some of the maps are redone to just be fun, some tough, and some are out of the book replicas.
  • Some SP conversions and New maps will also be included.
  • New weapons and mabey new vehicles will be added to some of the maps.
  • Oh, and my favorite, Easter Eggs :lol: If you find them all you get a prize. (More details later)

Here is a preview of one of our maps (BOOT) still in its beta stage (Still a lot of work needs to be done to it)

Cool I guess...someone did this a while back and I made an idea for classes.

Team spawns in a mach box room with 5 teleporters, each leading to a mach box with unique weapons, then a teleporter leading to the actual level itself.

Kinda hard to explain.

Oh, that would been me...lol...no this has been refined and re-tuned so it works more efficiently and the kit room thing has been shut out completely because of spawn killing.

lightmap, weather, and internet kiosk? whats there to be changed really? there's no big changes untill yet

Yeah, I agree, not an awful lot of changes, although the cover thing looks cool.

And GTAF, I don't recall team spawn rooms in BF2?

There weren't/aren't, but there were classes you could play as, and that would be a way to emulate them.
