H2CMT Assault Rifle upgrade
This morning I had the idea to re-include the AR in the mod, and update it for the h2 mod. Then I thought, well, why should they still be manufacturing the Assault Rifle with weapons like the SMG and the BR, so I decided to make the AR look aged. Hopefully Zex or lightning knows how to make the ammo counter flicker, so it will look like on of the light bulbs inside is broken.
Image is over 800x600, please follow the rules (i love my job) - Vinx
Nothing in this pic involves ripped halo 2 content, but the full mod it'self has ripped models, bitmaps, and sounds.

its easy, when you re-skin each number, just make it dimmer than the number before it, (probably better done at random) so as the ammo goes down, certain numbers in the counter will appear dimmer and not working propperly, heck you could even distort the brighter or the dimmer images to increase the aged affect.... as for the display background..... it has no animation that I know of and I'm pretty sure it doesn't change at all so I don't think thats possible... (only reason I come to that conclusion is because I have studied the DDS files of the AR extensively...)
Edit:
Awsome Idea, I loved the aged look! if you want it to look even older, you could change the display color back to the way it was (on the numbers any way) and when it fades have it go to a more greenish color...) just some suggestions, again great job ^_^
