Yeah.

The resigner has a very cheap rehashing function. May update with a bigger one, but I doubt it. It ain't worth it.

And Veegie, if It came off that I was flaming you, I was not.

I apologize.

I don't believe it has ever been automated, when speaking in regards to 10+ minute films.
Anthony and I always had to rehash the entire films by hand, which would take upwards of twenty minutes.
Well, I use Forge's resigner with my films and it works for very large films (The largest I've done is 21 mbs)

Then it's a good thing that I noted that it was rehashing, not resigning that is size-dependent or I would look quite foolish.

Do you mean rehash independently? Because I thought you had to rehash everything you edited.

I don't know how else that could have been perceived, but yes.

Well I have a program that fixes the hash tables, it worked for the 21mb film too.

Nah.
Gametype and usermap extraction should be a feature shortly after I finish moving.

Thats cool... so wait it will be able to extract the usermap and the game type all from the video file? That would truly be awesome!

Right.
Think of two-second video as a global screenshot.

just want to ask are you using something like analog film by using the data to create a screenshot(s) and then stitch them together, or am i just swinging in the breeze. =<

edit: i meant more if your application had the power to create a series of screenshots from the data then string them together,(essentially the main concept of any video so in reality stupid  )

Yeah I didn't literally mean a screenshot...
Note the fact that I italicized it.
Your comment still doesn't make sense though, regardless of what I meant.
