I know this is picky, but... Once we're at the forums, we have to re-enter the url in the address bar or click the back button a lot in order to return to the news page of Halomods.
Could you guys maybe change the header to look like this?

No, there's enough clutter as it is. I think the banner should link to the news page, we can already get back to the index using the "board index" link anyway.

No, I think there should be a link to the front page somewhere, even if it is discreet.
It seems odd that the only way to get back to the main site is by manually typing in the url.
Maybe a link saying "Home" or "Front page" above the search button in the top-right-hand corner of the header? I'm thinking in the same font/style as "Advanced search" is in now.

Seconded. the banner should link to the index, but there should be a link next to FAQ, Members, logout, etc. that links to the main page.
