database problems?

Is somebody flaming or causing problems? Is there a post that is too large for content? Moderators will check here often to discover problems quickly.

for most of the past two weeks it seems halomods was down for me. i'd try to connect to forums.halomods.com, get presented a "no connection to database" error message, then go on my way. is this just me? has the site been having more problems lately? what's up?
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

It's been doing this for a while. Sometimes it will go down for weeks at a time. It's just new server issues.

The server doesn't properly dispose of sessions, if anyone wonders what causes the crashes.
