Ok, so when you try to search, and say you need to change something up, you go back, change it, hit search, and you get that error saying

You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while.

It gets really annoying after a while. I_F or Kirk, said they had no clue about it, and would try to remove it, but it's still here after some months.

It'd most likley be a simple value change just like the post time restricted

We know about it. It's been there since the merge. We meant to get rid of it, but it just never happened.

No, in other words, if we had no clue about it, how could it be fixed?

There is only one flood thing that I've seen (and i've looked through the admin panel many times) and that's the flood for posting. It may act as the same thing, but we aren't going to lower that.

The posting one is already removed, and with good reason. There are countless times when fast replies are possible, and it's a major annoyance to have to sit around waiting. (Say for instance, closing reports..) There's only been one single instance where the post timer would have been useful, and it wouldn't have helped much at all, even then.

Oh, okay.

And to avoid confusion, when i'm saying "we had no clue about it", I'm not saying we didn't know there was a flood limit, i'm saying I had no idea how to disable it.

Kirk, last time I brought this up, you you or I_F had no clue there was one ;p

I think it was you that was confused... I knew there was one, I just had no idea how to fix it...

But Tural is right, it doesn't really matter. What I said still stands, as of right now, I do not know of a way to fix it, and I don't know if it'll ever be fixed.

I don't recall this ever being discussed. I found the setting in CH, lowered to 3 seconds...Have a nice day...

Yeah that didn't show up in my CH...
