I don't know what u guys think but Pie is only an arbiter?!?!??! He helps everyone on these forums out so much! Why isn't he a moderator?

That is, if he even wants to be!

If he wants to I think that he deserves it! What do u guys think?

Maybe ill put a poll on this.

wouldn't grenadiac be able to tell if somebody did that?

Well, actualy im in charge of making ner moderators. So I check that
Ill leave this topic up, but there is already another post. (Moderators, and arbiters, you know where. Post in there)

Well he obviously wants to be a moderator, otherwise he never would have signed up to be an Arbiter, unless you like youre name orange <_<

i was offered arbiter position. this was before they incorperated the sign up rule.

doubt it. Arbiter originated on the files forumn i think. so it is newer over here. I was just made into one more towards the beginning, before they carved the rules into stone.

all of the arbiters do, they need to be an arbiter first reguardless of their "helpfulness" around the forum, while we are looking for someone that will be helpful, and respectful (a big plus), we don't need that person unless they know when or when not to lock/delete etc. different threads, and give out warnings, which is exactly why we have arbiters, we are voteing on the arbiter to mod step for one of our arbiters right now...

Sweet... hey, with all the high ranking people leaving, like DS, and Foods, and some of the mods, does this mean there will be more opennings than usual?

Pie, you know what I voted for...just to tell you this is good that members have a view on moderators...because say theres a guy what wants one, hes a REAL good mod but can be bitchy to members, we dont want that si this is good to get feedback about this kindof thing...But even if the vote wins with saying Pie mod...doesnt mean the admins will

Pie was the first arbiter here. Although Arbiters have been on files since November. He was the first person I offered the job to. He didnt ask for it. None of them asked for it. Thats why I knew they would work.

Well, I have the final say when choosing. The admins leave me in charge of that. Meaning, I could just choose one. Regardless if someone else has the votes. My judgement goes on that. But I allow moderators to vote to give thier input on people. I already have someone in mind to be the next moderator. But want to see how the response of him being a moderator would be first.

Having a moderator that the whole forum hates would really suck.

Well, I kind of knew this when I posted. I didn't think that the vote would really do n e thing at all, I was just interested in seeing what other ppl thought....

I do think the members should get in on the mod choosing process, cuz there are only like 15 mods and over 9000 members.
