SIG POLICE?

I was just messing around so I clicked on the

Usergroups button at the top and I just look at the Main-Admins, Admins, then Staff and scroll through them all then see SIG POLICE. They have no posts and joined in 2005. Who exactly is that? Were they a Staff member at the Users part of Halomods before the merge? Were they suppose to be replaced?

I was told it was a bot that scanned sigs for rule breaking and edited said signatures.

Oh, I should have figured that's what it did. Anyways, if you would like you may close/delete this topic. All I wanted to know is what it was. Thanks.
