Halo 3 mod question

I was wondering could I get banned for transferring maps that i downloaded from here to my xbox hdd on xbox live or halo 3 matchmaking?

You will not be banned for transferring maps from your PC to you 360 HDD.

But you can't mod in matchmaking anyway.

Do not mod on the Xbox Live Service. Period.

Could i play a map that i downloaded or created on xbox live with my friend over xbox live and not get banned? lol

... Do not play mods on Xbox Live. Stop asking if you can. Point is you shouldn't be. It's against the ToS and against the site rules to mod on live. One more question about modding on live and you're in trouble.

The only thing he can play are usermaps. Playing them on Xbox live isn't that serious at all. He won't get in trouble for playing them on Xbox live.


The only thing Bungie is willing to ban you for is uploading the modded content to your fileshare. Keep the mods from your fileshare at all times and you should be fine.

That's because Bungie is lax on several rules.
That isn't to say it's anymore OK to do it.
Also, it has been enforced outside of fileshares.
