XiL Gaming 1v1 Tournament :: Sign Up

Seeing as how the XiL Gaming night didn't work out to well because we had to work on a school project and Spark Studios was having a recording night for one of their videos, I figured I'd go ahead and put up our next tournament. I'm going to set this tournament for 2 weeks in advance because I have testing next week and I need to study for the tests. Since this is two weeks in advance, I'm going to let Spark Studios know. You should also make plans to be at home during the times that we decide are good for everyone. The 1v1 Map and Gametype are on Blackout. The tournament will be held on May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. May 2nd is a Friday, so it will only be warm ups. You're not required to be there, but you might want to go just to see what you're going to be up against and to get some practice with the new gametypes. I'm going to code an application that will take everyone's names and randomize 2 people that will compete. We will have double elimination, meaning that if you lose once, you go into the losers bracket. If you lose in the Losers Bracket, then you're out of the tournament. The Winners bracket will be held on Saturday, and you have 15 minutes to show up late. If you haven't shown up within 15 minutes, you will be sent to the Loser's Bracket and give your opponent an automatic win. The Loser's Bracket will be held on Sunday, and you'll be given 10 minutes to show up late. The losers bracket will be played on Guardian. If you aren't there within the 10 late minutes, then you'll be forced to forfeit the match to your opponent.
The winner of this tournament will receive 1,600 Microsoft Points, so I would suggest practicing 1v1 with lots of different people, good and bad, all with different play styles, so that you don't get used to just one person.
