Thats happened to me once, when I first got my 360. U have to bring the disk back to the store and ask for another one.

Just tell em my xbox scratched it? Im worried there not gonna take the game back, these dudes are by far the worst employees ive ever seen at a video game store, there all the "salesman" type and they try to con u out of every penny. If i can come up with a reasonable excuse it might work but i ono.

If you still have the receipt, take it back and get a new copy. They have no reason to deny you a new copy, as long as you have the receipt. It doesn't matter how the game was ruined, either.

The same damn thing happened to me, except my dog is the one that knocked it over. Damn animals...lol. I just took it back to Game Crazy told them I did'nt know what happened, it worked perfectly one day and the next day the 360 said it couldnt read it....lol, it worked though. Try that

What kind did you get? If you got the LE, then you can take it back and say it was scratched when you got it. It may work even if you got the normal edition. Just tell them it was scratched when you got it.

That happened to me too. see when u tilt your 360 while your machine is running (with the game in it), the lens in the 360 will totally make that ring scratch. I got it replaced and they game stop ppl accepted it back. ur unlucky :/ sry dude.

Heres what I say. "Hey, uhmm I bought this and put it in my xbox, and then I suddenly heard a grinding sound. When I tried to play it, it wouldn't load and kept giving me a message. I have no clue what happened, are you guys able to fix it or do I just trade it in for a new one?"

TOOTHPASTE, Dont laugh it works. Put toothpaste on it and wipe it off with a wet towel and it fixed my friends GoW

I would not recommend that... It would depend on the kind of toothpaste and the kind of towel you used.

I know you had it fixed, I was trying to help retards from messing up their disks by putting FREAKING TOOTHPASTE (!!!) on them! "oh noaz mi disk r br0kn i triyed 2 fix it w/ tuuthpast but it blu up and cut mi hand off    "

One more thing:
Step 1: Get a job.
Step 2: Do it well, and get payed.
Step 3: Take your money and go buy a one year XBL gold card.

The minimum wage is $6.55. By my calculation, that would be 7.633 Hours of work to get $50. It works for the rest of us, it will work for you...
