hey can you use XSATA or XPort 360 to extract save films(clips) from the hdd to your pc? it's too troublesome to upload to bungie.net and find out you can only dl to your 360 and can only be played in halo 3. also i don't want to hook up a camera and stuff.

no, you cant. all the save fill does is tell the engine how to recreate the scene there is no actual video data
that is why I didnt bother adding it to my app

Why does everyone ask this? If you bothered to check any thread concerning films, you would know that they are not video files, they are just collections of data. Furthermore, I'm not sure you even know what you're talking about with Bungie.net being troublesome, because you can't access the film file on Bungie.net anyways. I guess it would be quite troublesome, considering it's impossible...

But would you still be able to send the file to someone else after you extract it? Cause i know my file share is being stupid right now and it works every once and a while.

not sure if you can mod them. First reason is we cant fix the signature, that i know of. Second, if i rememeber right someone said that modified h3 files seem to get deleted once you go online with them.
