It seems Bungie worked on the detail of the game alot but forgot about the campaign, To me it is really short it is beatable in less then 3 hours if you try.

I wih they had made a longer campaign, But besides that Halo3 is the best and will remain for a wile.BEEF!!! wrote:Took me a decent 6 hours =/.
It's long enough as it is. There's enough replay value in the levels to go do it on Legendary, play co-op with your friends, find the skulls, etc etc.Supermodder911 wrote:I wih they had made a longer campaign, But besides that Halo3 is the best and will remain for a wile.BEEF!!! wrote:Took me a decent 6 hours =/.

Yea probably...GametagAeonFlux wrote:There's a balance that needs to be maintained in terms of story vs. length. They didn't need to draw out the story, they kept it straight and to the point. If they had made it longer, people would have most likely just bitched about stupid crap that wasn't relevant to the story and such.
dis man speaks the truth. i know i would of complained if bungie made us do abunch of stupid missions that had nothing to do with the story.GametagAeonFlux wrote:There's a balance that needs to be maintained in terms of story vs. length. Needs moar identical levels a la AotCR and Two Betrayals.galvination wrote:Even though the story may not be long, you still do a crapload of back tracking on missions which is kind of annoying. You spend ten mins clearing a large complex only to turn around and it's re-filled again.
Hey...hey ..hush you. I don't wanna know ANYTHING.Dr.Cox wrote:I didn't like the "no main boss" thing. I wanted to fight truth and the Grave-mind... BTW What happens to hims?
And did the Chief die from Exhaustion or something?

As I read your post...
If you don't have the game yet i suggest not clicking this thread.
Gravemind gets severely wounded from the High Charity explosion, then I remember Cortana saying he was "trying to rebuild himself" on either the Ark, or Halo (Installation 04)...I forget which one. Either way, it's assumed he dies from the activation of the Halo.Dr.Cox wrote:I didn't like the "no main boss" thing. I wanted to fight truth and the Grave-mind... BTW What happens to hims?

Yep the way they ended it they actually have a choice of developing a new one or just ending it.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Gravemind gets severely wounded from the High Charity explosion, then I remember Cortana saying he was "trying to rebuild himself" on either the Ark, or Halo (Installation 04)...I forget which one. Chief doesn't die, watch the scene after the credits. The portal closed just as they were entering it, so the ship got cut in half. Arbiter got through because he was up front, but Cortana and Chief are left drifting in space. Cortana sets a beacon, tells Chief it could be years before anyone finds them, Chief goes in to a cryo chamber and tells her to wake him up when she needs him. After that, it shows their ship (at least it looks like it's their ship) drifting towards some planet.
Thanks Gtaf.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Gravemind gets severely wounded from the High Charity explosion, then I remember Cortana saying he was "trying to rebuild himself" on either the Ark, or Halo (Installation 04)...I forget which one.
