Thats an amazing shot, both pic and actual shot. :P

The only thing is that I hope sniper bullets don't bounce off of everything.

They depict realistic physics. At an angle, a bullet could deflect off of concrete.

I don't know what these "gernades" are, but I can assure you it did not. It bounced off the concrete wall, then off the metal grate.

I am saddened by the lack of Real Time Reflection like Bungie said there would be in Halo 3...Nonetheless, the detail level in almost everything is extra ordinary...Honestly I can't figure out how the game is being deemed not very pretty or worse than gears...but maybe its just my opinion (like the review has theirs)
anyways:

Ghost
Explosions
Laser goes through everything!

The laser doesn't seem to work for me. I hate how they powered it down...

Both games are different styles, and likely shouldn't be compared. I will not say Halo 3 is the best looking game, because it's not, but it's very good, it has a great style, and it works. Unreal Engine 3 is a technical marvel that achieves higher levels of detail, but not necessarily in the style Halo 3 does. I personally think Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 have better graphics than Halo 3 does, but it's all opinionated. Nice screenshots everyone, and I hope to add a lot of my own later on =D

I'm pretty sure it shoots like, 5 projectiles...you just can't tell from looking at the beam. Also Thirst...they didn't power it down, it's still easy to get a kill with.
