What the...seriously?

This picture has been circulating the internet recently but there has been no confirmation of its authenticity. Now, if this picture is real, the question here is... Is Master Chief dying in Halo 3? This picture certainly portrays the idea that the UNSC is honoring Masterchief but even if its a legit picture, it might just be honoring his life and Master Chief is still alive. The tension builds... freakin marketing schemes. We can only wait and see.

Halo 3 just finalized its ESRB rating.
If that picture is more than a week old, it's fake I'd say.

I hope the chief does die bcuz if they make another Halo game they should follow the complete Story of the covenant

The boxarts on Halo3.com have had M ratings displayed for quite a while. I don't think that's indicative of authenticity.

Bungie has kept all story elements hidden inside giant steel vaults. I do not see why they would suggest such an ending to occur in this way.

I would only believe it if Bungie says it, but I doubt Bungie would say, he would die.

This definetly has to be fake. Why would Bungie ruin the fun of saying what would happen to MC? I wouldn't be suprised if the Arbiter dies but I don't know about MC.

Yeah I sorta realized that after I posted but my mom was talking to me. I just thought that at first because it says honoring life and legend MC Spartan 117. So I just thought that it meant he had died.

Just to put this out there but maybe he left the UNSC but if this is so this may be the last halo game out there but bungie wouldn't do that.
