I noticed in the IGN article, "Beyond the Beta," they say this:

That's pretty cool sounding. I wouldn't want the armor to be customizeable inside single player, but multiplayer only (Which is I think what they're getting at).

It's always been referred to as multiplayer customization. Single player you are Master Chief. He doesn't change his armor.

Pretty cool, I'm on image 134 right now.
Some of the close up images show some pretty bad texture/model quality. Once you see zoomed out images it's fine, though.
