It's just a game, a way to get away from reality. Video game blood and violence is not the same as real-life violence. It's okay to hate something in a game, and not in real life, and vice versa. Life is weird like that. I love hookers, but I shoot them in Grand Theft Auto. No biggie.

Ever since Gears of War came out people have been wanting extreme violence in Halo 3. We will get gore with the flood, but really all this hardcore stuff people are wishing for isn't necessary. Halo is fine the way it is.

Much people like violence, just see what kind of movies exist...(saw.. wtf!?) :/

And halo doesn't need violence to become a better game, but it's a story based on war and wars are violents

Well Maybe the whole "over gore" GTA head being blown completly off thing is a little to violent but imagine red team comming at you with duel smgs and you cut one off his arm. Thatd be pretty awesome in my book. I personally liked the starwars styled body detachments I believe halo 3 should have it, but since I know others out there do not think like me, I believe there should be a setting for gore.

I don't want there to be extreme gore like FEAR(arms, legs, heads, hearts, random guts, rib cages, ect.)but some new effects would be cool like armor damage and such.
