HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Back in '99, a few E-Mails were sent to an employee at Bungie. The sender, calling itself "Cortana." Many people think that Bungie took ideas and words, and phrases from these letters and incorperated these into the Halo series. Many people belive that the Cortana letters may hold clues to Halo 3s storyline. I am asking for someone to help me extensivley research these letters to bring a theoretical Halo 3 storyline to HaloMods.com.

Halo 3 Trailer:

I have defied Gods and Demons.

See any similarities? There are many more.
Also Cortana in the trailer saying that "She defied Gods and Demons."
I do belive that Master Cheif is called "Demon" by the Covenant. Coinsidence? You decide. The Tru7th is out there.

This was brought up on the Bungie forums the very first day, when the Announce trailer came out. Way old. Literally, it could not be any older, in all seriousness.

That doesnt mean that we cant discuss it here. And the fact that Im trying to discover new things about the letters and Halo 3. Not confirm the ones everyone knows about. The ones I pointed out were just examples, i the case that no one has ever heard of it.

And I was just pointing out that nearly, if not everything has already been discussed.

Well, not everyone reads all the stuff on the bungie forums. I had no idea about this. Please, continue your research, I can try to help as well, if you want.

But yeah, those similarities seem beyond coincidence. I think the Chief is the "demon" mentioned too, and the "Gods" would probably be the prophets
