Yep, there definitely weren't any longswords at all shown in one of the cutscenes in Cairo station

Totally not. And especially neither in the beginning cutscene, where they might be following Seraphs or the ending cutscene where they could've opened a shaft on the cruiser's plasmacannon.

Yep, thats what I was gonna say.
I haven't voted because when you ask about the return of the Longsword I don't know if you mean just in cutscenes, or playable as well.
