It's definitely not a French Horn, but I play the Saxophone, and it doesn't sound like that either.

I'd probably say a smaller instrument, with a reed. Oboe? Bassoon?

I think the problem is that the attacks are very subtle, making it hard to identify the instrument because it is creating such a clean sound.

Also, just to go off on a tangent, I play tuba.

Anyways rumour had it for a while on a certain site that Mythic will hit in January. I guess that rumour was true? Hopefully.

January is in the range of "early 2009".

They said it will be releasing in the beginning of 2009, in the winter.

I think that a few updates back that there were a few pics of our ODST on a ship; it looked like Halo 3 graphics to me.

There have been no in-game pictures from ODST.
There was an ODST cut-out in one update but that could have easily have been from Halo 3.

The top picture looks in-game to me. Also, the ODST has the open finger gloves and the silenced SMG of the one we saw in the trailer. Technically not in-game, but still, it's from the game in question.

It's probably either a really great drawing, or just a render.
I believe they don't have much if any of the game built yet.

In their updates they said that the entire game is fully playable from beginning to end but not entirely presentable yet.
