I.love.you.

Have had some fun playing with the flood juggernaut.

The program works well for a first release.

Add a close map option!
I am tired of exiting the program every time....

All and all, I love you.

if you want to open a different map, just hit open, it will automatically close the first one. As for testing your stuff in game, you can just leave the map open :D
I programmed it so that you can just leave it open while the game is running, so no real need for a close map option in my opinion

Very nice app you've made, but I've got a question
Is there a way to change the teams that the characters are on in single player?
If not do you know any application that can do this?
A tag editor would be nice too, something just like HMT, but compatible with H2V.
Thanks, much appreciated

Gravemind will have a meta editor, and there will probably be plugins for that. For now you can use a hex editor, and I might post the update of this app that has a resigner (codes done, yet to test), as well as meta extraction and injection... I would go crazy making this app very functional and cool, but I feel im wasting my time seeing as how grimdoomer is already doing the same thing... maybe i will wait til its out then fill in the blanks

Do you perhaps know how I could do that? I'm sorry im new to hex editing.
Like I found an ai_allegiance script but I cannot tell who it is for, im trying to just put the elites on the player's team. Help is greatly appreciated.

my suggestion would be to download some xbox plugins, and then extract the meta of the character who's team you want to switch. Look the the plugin's xml file and see if you can find some sort of value that can be changed. Change it with a hex editor, then inject it into the map (or just hex the map)
Then open the map with any program that can resign and do that. This goes for meta editing of any kind atm.

edit: just wait for a day or so

UPDATE:

New stuff:
-allows the loading and swapping of nulled out dependencies
-double click a dependency to access its tag
-resigner
-no need to swap sizes any more, it does that for you
-a 'restore' button that will set the meta back to normal
-allows you to swap dependencies to different tag classes
-differentiates between dependencies and lone IDs

One last little thing before Gravemind comes out, enjoy.

I don't see why you don't organize the tags in the treeview by name, instead of just leaving them unorganized.

I think sorting the meta's by their class makes it much easier to find things.

Also, the app finds the meta size of about 80% of the meta's I select to be 0; and if it's not zero it gives this error:

So I believe your calculating the meta offset and/or the meta size wrong.

Ah, now that could be the problem :D. I thought it could open and edit, just not make them playable.

Well, I do too. Well, not the complete answer, but the short answer is that the way the map is structured differs between multiplayer and single player maps.
