Improperly UV'd, poor stage modeling, no gameplay mechanics, and no weapons from what I can tell. This is one of those maps most people keep to themselves and learn off of. I'm harsh to help by the way. ;) My recommendation is to pull this back into complete overhaul, take what you have, redo probably most of it, and try to create something worth playing. Releasing every simple map you make will only cause you pain from the horrid comments you receive. I'm letting you down gently. :)

Edit: And please don't use Halomods to host your images. Try an off-site hosting service like Image Shack or Photobucket. Also, please try to keep your images under 800 x 600 pixel dimensions and use Thumbnails if need be.

Harsh but true SHOUT. My suggestion is to utilize the geometry features H2v has that H1 didn't. Such as seperate models that don't have to be bound or attached to the main level geometry. Also don't do maps with wide open spaces and cliffs. That kind of map shows no modelling skills or imagination. As an example, I am currently working on a run down prison that resembles Alcatraz meets Resident Evil. Railings, jail doors, door jams, drainage floor grates.....the works! It's best to sketch images of the map you want first but also remember to limit yourself. Noone likes a map with so much going on that it interferes with gameplay. If you need help with any models or ideas just ask around. Or search in the forums for model files that other users have posted for public use. Hope this helps!
WOW! Three years here, and I still haven't released any of my mods

I'd work on textures, smoothing groups maybe, uvw'ing, and modeling. I can see some horrible problems with the bsp just in that pic. Also its too boxy.

Sorry if you don't like the criticism but you'll get more i'm sure. Just take it as help.

Keep it up, a rule of thumb. don't release any of your first 5-10 maps.
