Don't flame me I don't have the game yet but can you get banned for modding? I don't want to spend money to buy Vista and Halo 2 and find out I get banned for modding.

The only "true" mods are singleplayer and no you won't get banned. Many people including myself have done Multiplayer RealTImeHalo mods but that info you would need to find out for yourself until it is fully ready to be released to the public.
