Hi, I new to making a halo 2 map, I have the video that have a short explanation to make a map but I never use 3ds max so, I can make a map with nothing in here then I can make drawings in AutoCAD (I used this for years and know how to make 3d things) then pass the autoCAD drawings to 3dmax (I have a friend that know to do that) and scale the drawings to the map. This can then fuction well in Halo 2?
Finally, render in 3dsmax is easy or hard? you select the texture, texture options and the object or is more complicated?
