if so does any1 know of any existing emulators that would let me play halo 2 on xp?

Yes, and E3pO may have found a way to play online aswell.

So i've been doing doing a shit load bit of research on the subject, and have found a possible solution. I will only tell 3 people how its done, but to qualify you must be running windows xp with halo 2 already installed.

i just need some software that will run H2 on windows xp...

If I am not mistaken, there was something released called WoWLoader for Halo 2. It would not let you get on live though.
