how do i install it the right way to where

Um...That is not for vista...
It looks like its for another OS, Are you sure your version is Vista? We do not accept people asking questions on how to play H2V on a Mac/XP/Linux system.

I dont think we can help you and normally i wouldnt acuse someone of this but that looks like winxp ---- or media center adition. I'v never seen that DOS, Comand Prompt window with that message and in vista the instaling bar has no spaces in between the lines its a full bar. Sorry but i dont beleive we can help.

Try buying the game and use the OS it's intended for; Vista.

Well it never was released that it was disallowed by the company to run it on Windows XP; I believe at least. It's just disallowed here. Sorry, we can't help you if it's on XP :\
