Is it worth it?

Post by DoorM4n »

People have been telling me that H2V is really cool as well as many many others say that it is just a waste of money.

Please, enlighten me with your opinions!

I don't see why someone would say it's a waste of money unless they have a really bad computer or hate Halo 2. I play it every now and then, and I'm satisfied with it.

Yeah, I'd say get it. It'll give you something to do until Halo 3 comes out. It has acheivments and all that other good Xbox LIVE stuff.

The graphics are hugely upgraded, and supports up to 4x MSAA. The multiplayer is expanded with 2 new maps, and user created maps.

It's Halo 2. If you've ever played Halo 2, you know what to expect. As far as Vista goes, go for it if you have a decent computer and the money.

If you've never played Halo2 / don't have an xbox, etc, it's worth it.

If you love Halo2 / you've wanted to play on user-made maps forever / make a new level / play it on your computer / you're achievement addicted, it's worth it.

If you have an xbox 360 and Halo2 is just another game you play on it every once in a while... it's still the same game on pc.

I enjoy Halo 2 Vista. Although online is a bit dead. It ranges from only about 60-100 people online a day. With only about 6 full servers.

Not if you're a mouse + keyboard fanboy like me. It's way better.

My computer is by far not a super gaming machine (I don't break 70fps in CSS, BF2 doesn't run great, but not bad on slightly lower settings) and Halo 2 ran perfectly fine. I could have bumped the settings a little higher and it still would have ran fine.

I finally beat Halo 2 :D (So that's the cliffhanger? What a letdown, I was expecting something big, it's like a cliffhanger of a cliffhanger)

Halo 2 surprisingly ran quite well on my computer. If it weren't for my 1.7ghz processor it would have run really well. It still runs fine though.

I'd really like it...All my specs are fine with it...Except my integrated 3d card =( If there were a demo to download (even it were just a 5minute play) then I'd test it out and buy it if it actually could work....But I have no way of telling and I'm not forking out money for no reason!

@kirk, Hilarious! I love how you've only played it now, even after being at a halo modding forum for this long.
