how about a non cheatable matchmaking? and an MC skin editor, like in GTA.(not really a editor, the skin layout was easier) but you could see it online, and share them.

I think it would also be good to see some sort of in-depth stats review like their live services with images of where everything took place so they could be saved to your computer and viewed whenever.
I second that.

I would also like tons of game options. Down to like what specific single weapon you do or don't want on the map. Also, the option to start with a dual wield of your choice. I wanted to create a game type with H2 Xbox where everyone starts with two needlers, and that's all there was on the map, but couldn't.

If you're not devoted enough to make a map, then you have no room to talk. Making a map editor like the ones in Tony Hawk would completely kill the game. Their sales would go down, and they'd make less money. So of course you'll need to map and model in 3ds Max. They're not going to make it any easier or different. Okay? Thanksbye.

Why would people be so mad if they made an easy editor? All I see is less work and more play :) Just use 3dsmax for like texturing new guns and such or whatever you use for stuff like that. I don't know much about 3dsmax

I hope halo 3 would be non-usable (like taking a model from h3 and putting it in to CE, even if you give credits to bungie, bungie also said that they will pwn you if you try to take their content) to halo 2 and to 1

how will the accompolish that? who knows because if they do a different format for things, ppl can just convert...

crap wrong place

Why does halomods attract 12-year-olds?

Content:
  • New multiplayer maps
  • New usable vehicles
  • New usable weapons
  • More music
Non-Server Customization:
  • Easy built-in custom logo inport/export utility.
  • More detailed built-in player-skin customization options.
  • Openly available .dds files for more advanced skinning.
  • High-Poly Model Injector
  • Easier to use Modding Tools (I was never motivated to conquer tool.exe)
Servers, Multiplay:
  • Better Netcode than Halo PC.
  • Better Anti-Hack system! No potential for standby's, mod-ups, etc.
  • Classic server browsing system (like Halo PC)
  • More complex Teamkilling System
Server Customization/Options:
  • Detailed data-logs.
  • Specific customization options, as mentioned before.
  • More complex Teamkilling options.
Thats what I want, I guess. Really, i'm just going to buy it to mod, skin, etc. Although thats mostly because I dont have the internet connection to play it at this house anyway (I go to a friend's pad to play).

I like the Halo Series music, and I'd absolutely love to hear more with the release of Halo 2 PC. I'm also expecting that there will be the same time of deal with new content like Maps and Weapons, like Halo PC? (Bungie/Gearbox Added a few of each to multiplay).

No, I'm not up to date with whatever Bungie has said. Its going to stay that way, because I'm completely satisfied gaming wise with Halo 2 Xbox, and the up and coming Halo 3 Xbox360.

Oh, and Vegeta, dont pick on helpless noobs. From what vauge memories I have of you, you arent the kind of guy who has to flame little kids in a pathetic attempt just to get it up, so stop making it look that way.[/list]

Bungie NEEDS

Is for 3rd Party Map support. I mean no H2CE. I mean H2PC. They should add a few servers with downable maps from the Devs themselves.. awesome

I wonder how they can allow maps to be downloaded and then cached while Halo is running. I know there's a way, but I'm thinking that it's going to be a lot, lot, lot

I got some, a tool that allows easy single player map creation/verification for custom single player maps. So, for example, if you complete the Great Journey, you advance to custom levels, then the credits roll after you finish them.

-An awsome tool like Grenadiac's sparkedit, that allowes you to view levels and swap objects, place them, and rotate them.

-Devolper mode, for testing obvousily.

-Content designer and gameplay editor, this allowes new physics, new modes, new systems and ablities in gameplay.

-Cutscene editor/Creator

-Modeler, for modeling.

i have to say, Microsoft ruined PDZ, the original was alot better. i played it and the Multi was horrible, controls were bad, and so was campaign mode. they should have kept Velvet Dark as the Co-Op player, and keep the british accent she had.
anyway. srry, just had to say somthin. PD was one of my all time favorite games on N64

i havnt heard of Halo 2 PC, is there a set release or is it still TBA?

they should fix the Online play though for Matchmaking, instead of waiting 10min to join a game, host servers and stuff like that. also add a old Halo design, Warthog moving is faster, bounces more. the guns were like they were, pistol zoom, BR acts like a Assault Rifle, etc.

I may not like PDZ but I like the way they have their Coop servers setup

you can Create a Game, Join a Game from a list of people, or make a private game with your friends because since Halo 2 PC is coming out on Vista I think they are gonna put it on Live Anywhere just so you can see your friends on Xbox, and they would only be able to join your game but not PC join Xbox games because of matchmaking.

PDZ, didnt know there was Online Co-Op enabled. thats awsome, though only downside, the game wasnt great. *pulls out old Perfect Dark*

they didnt enable the online Co-Op because of loading difficulties and Reigions/triggers i think.

also, what is Vista1? seen it several places here, i was gonna ask on another post, but didnt want to bump the topic.

if H2 is online with PC, there will prolly be complaining, because it is prolly easier to play 1st person on PC than a console. but i havnt played a 1st person in a year or 2 on pc so i wouldnt remember...

It is required, because H2PC will be using new formats that XP doesnt have.
