[Map] Wasteland

WELCOME TO WASTELAND

Well after a few problems I have got this map done.

What's so special about it Rose ? I hear you ask

Well.... it's a Timberland map that has had PMI done to it, runs on a server and still allows players without the modded map to join.

Obviously they will not be able to see the new scenery and most of the changes but they will be able to see the port markers and enjoy (hopefully) playing on it.

Hopefully, they show most of the new stuff and should make it obvious why it's been named Wasteland !!

The weapons have been modded, but not to a great extent. The needlers have unlimited ammo.

You will also spawn with a snipers rilfe and a shotgun, this gets rid of the need to go hunting round for better weapons and you can join the fight straight away.

There are 2 invisible shields that stop base/spawn killing from the big central platform, plus the Torch on the cliffs will take you to a special hiding place.

Once again, very nice Rose, you've always seemed to have made creative mods.
9/10 because the ghost looks a little meh, I'll check it in game though.

I agree, I can never seem to find the right texture to put on the ghost. It was the last thing I did and I was hurrying to get it finished.

i dont like all the stuff floating around but im glad what you did with timberland cuz i think that map is retarded and that this looks better

I just got a few things to say ^.^

First nice map =) very well done i like x) 8/10

Second why is their a covenant platform in the middle of the sky?? (I know all this is science fiction, but it not even held up by anything it just sitting there ><)

Umm.. also j/w why the guns look so small in the last screen shot the sniper and shotgun look tiny on the base ><

Errmmm, Does it really matter how it's there ?? I thought it looked good and added to the game play. If it makes you happier, I cast a spell of levitation on it, lol

The guns look small because you are not close to them. Try this in the real world, look at an object and then move away from it and t will appear to shrink. Amazingly, the object has not actually shrunk.
You can also try this in reverse, look at a wall, fix a point of it in your mind and then run really really really fast at and you will see it appear to grow larger and larger. Please be aware that it is best to stop before you collide with the wall as you may experience something called pain if you hit it.

I had no idea that you had completed a similar mod. Mine was done with no reference to anyone elses work and I apologise if it seems like I was stealing your idea

I've no idea why that should be, I have had no problems with people joining the server at all. I just tested it a mnute ago and joined fine with a normal timberland map.
