it said that for me too. Then I deletd the program and Halo ran fine.

Yeah, I'm sure I have that .dll. I removed the mod and everything is back to normal. I'm not really surprised that I got this error, Yello gives the same (or similar) error.
i just applied the mod and i got an error starting it up. After removing the files and switching back to my original d3d9.dll the game would give me exception data errors while starting up. I decided to delete and restore the file but after i deleted it, it never showed up in the recycle bin. So i just reinstalled the game but the d3d9.dll doesn't show up in the Halo folder. So what do I do to get it back?
I don't think the d3d9.dll is in the folder by default. When I copied yelobattery's files into my Halo folder it didn't ask to overwrite anything, at least. The game runs, right?

Didn't doom have AA?
Doom 1 I mean.
I don't know. It's possible.
I don't think Doom 1 had AA, it wasn't even a true 3d game. And the graphics hardware back then wasn't even capable of doing aa anyways.
Has anyone tried tweaking with the .ini file? I think I've managed to turn on AF, but I haven't really done a comparison yet, so it might not be doing anything. I couldn't get any AA on my computer when I enabled it, could someone else try it?
I think the reason that lots of people cannot run halo with this installed is because the program is meant to read only DirectX 9, but lots of people fave DX10
Ah yes, Boris Vorontsov is a really great man. This mod for GTA SA (works with any direct X game) Really makes drastic improvements! It also gives GTA SA Amazing shaders and crystal water.
