Im pretty sure most of the junk space is at the end, so just open up the offset list that you can make in SE, find the map size and take it away from the cache file size. Whatever this number is , start from the end and count back.

If bungie used magic so that they could change the size of sections of the map, why cant we? We could create a map with all the junk space which is usually at the end in the BSP section, then we could use all of the SP BSPs in MP. I think that there isnt a German PAL patch for the banshee, only a UK PAL one. The offsets are slightly different so UK PAL mods wont work with German PAL.

Are you patching the cache files or the compressed files?

Also you can legally download the NTSC version of Halo if you own the PAL version becasue you have already bought the game (I think).

Click on the model in HMT. Click extract all models on the right panel. Then get a .obj import/export plugin for 3DSMAX. Edit, then import using the import button. If you want to put them in a different map then its harder, use pokecancer's tutorial in the files section.
