You know you can use sparkedit without a bitmaps.map loaded at all. It's all in white and grey but it's useable. Just set the bitmaps directory to blank.

this folder for halo CE C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps ummmm this is a Halo PC mod I beleive, not a Halo CE Mod. So the correct folder would be: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS you need to put them in vehicles first with HHT then flip those vehicles with sparke...

I think he's another one of those Halo CE Fanboys. I'm sure there's a way to mirror all the animations without using Max. You don't need to extract. Just open the map file itself, it's in there, and then screw around with the coordinates of the vertices or points, they've gotta be stored as a value ...

just use photoshop to make the bitmaps "shinier", or perhaps give it a different cubemap. But you'll probably want to edit the assault rifle multipurpose bitmap for the most significant results.

Hmm... I got a Covenenant Nuke working using the poa explosion particle system.... not the sissy little covie blast bolt explosion from a10, that one's only like 8x the size of the plasma nade explosion. The other one engulfs the whole freakin level.

So far, there is no way to change animations in Halo PC. Someone that is very very smart would need to create a plugin for the Animation Trigger tag in HMT that would allow you to somehow export the animations... In whatever file format they are in... and then we'd need to find some kinda program on...
