Halo 2 sounds

I saved a sound from a Halo 2 map, but when i go to the place where i saved it, the file is just a...file? it has no file extension and i have no idea what type of file it is. How could i fix this?

i used GmaxSLgrab and it saved as an xml file(no other filetypes i could export as) , not jms. im guessing thats NOT ok....sorry for the many questions but i cant find a tut that uses gmax just ones that use 3ds

yeah i got it working finally, but I still don't know where it exported the file to... theres no option to pick where to extract to, and when it reaches 100%, the model exporter window coems up again. BTW the tut i am using was meant for 3ds max, so they already had a plugin for this, im using the b...

I decided to get into CE like 25 seconds ago. So, what i did was i export the beavercreek model with sparkedit, converted to .dxf with wings 3d(when i converted it to .3ds it messsed it up) then opened in gmax, and without editing the model at all, tried to export it as jms crap. Can you please tell me how you got the .OBJ and .mtl please? I'm trying to find a way to get bloodgulch into Super Mario 64, if its possible. BTW, what picture formats do N64's use?
