sorry im stuck again,im in command promt and im trying 2 create a tag ,ive changed the tif files 2 explicit alpha ,but it wont let me create the tag when i type tool structure levels\splinter splinter ,it comes up with couldnt read map file './toolbeta.map building intermediate geometry...... file_o...

nm got it i 4got 2 take off the " at the strt thnx lol

ok ive got the shrtcut but when i put in the halo directory it dosnt allow me to insert it ? my haloce directory is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition

ive gone so far in kirks tuturials but wen i export the map ,it comes up no actors found im not sure how 2 fix it can any1 help ?

yea this is gonna sound noobish but i really want 2 start moddeling,i can skin and can make most of a map but how do i change the shape on the vehicles ????plz help im pretty new 2 moddeling ,even if you can direct me 2 a gd tutorial thnx

open a map file >go2 bitmaps>find texture>inject the skin ive made or d/led then close map file,and that wrks perfect 4 me,

im not 2 sure what you mean ? its a basic .dds file

hey i can already skin pretty well its jus one of my friend seems 2 b having trouble ,ive went thru everything with him,gave him the skins ,he injected them,but when he goes on halo they dnt seem 2 work ,ne help peepz ?

ok when i say its NOT 2 do with .net frame work ,i mean its not 2 do with .net frame work,its a completly different error,can some1 with more than 1/2 a brain help me ???
