That's a really nice shortcut Superfly :D.

The long way to do it is enter cd and then the directory. So for example I enter in this:

cd c:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition

Hope that helps. I recommend using Superfly's method though.

In the command prompt type the following: (replace all yourmap's with the name of your map file)

tool build-cache-file levels\yourmap\yourmap

Then you just open up Halo Custom Edition and it should be in the map list. I hope that solves your problem.

Do you need a shader file for a diffuse color material?

A couple of the models in my map have a material with only a diffuse color and no bitmap. I was wondering if I still need to make a .shader file for these materials. Please help soon. Thanks.

Yea I've had the same problem but so far I haven't been able to extract it to 3ds Max. I will probably just take the collision model of a similar tree and apply it to the ones without collision models.

But in the debug.txt it says that the smooth triangle group is too big for the deathbasin_ground but it has the exact same shader as the previous version that the radiosity worked correctly on.

When I type in radiosity_save after all the numbers are at 0.000000, Sapien closes without saving anything. Grenades go through parts of my base...

I am making a map (Death Basin) and on parts of the base you can throw grenades through the floor. However, on other parts they bounce like normal. The warthog wheels also sink some on the problem areas. Please tell me how to make it so the grenades will not go through the base. BTW I am using 3DS M...

Why don't some trees have collision models?

Some of the trees you can collide with and others you can just go through. I've already watched the Scenery/Collision Model Tutorial but I can't make a model the right size for the trees. Is there already an inactive collision model for the trees or something? Please help me.
