Yeah I've tried that, and 'Save as'. I tired browsing for the file to make sure it was saving to the right place. Alas, still no luck. Oh well. Gonna have to waite for another post...

Ok, I followed the hex-editing guide here on halomods. I'm doing (or as far as I can tell) everything it says right. Alas when I click the save button it saves it.
