Done in Vue 6, The carrier model was done in 3ds max and textured with photoshop.

that is what i call a very reckless shipmaster! :D

He never asked for an explanation. And Theforerunner, Veegie can say whatever he wants. He wasn't flaming you. He was telling you to stop because it looked incorrect. I am so confused. It's the along these lines: i posted a render on a quick 5 minute set up scene to test a new plug-in, veegie told me to re extract the normal map so i told him that it wasn't a normal map it was parallax bumping, then he answered "then stop" just like that, so i exploded...

So here's something I've working on its some sort of forerunner installation (sorry for the quality quick vray settings) i haven't defined yet it's purpose, I'm planing on putting it in the face of a cliff over an overgrown jungle, so what do you all think, comments and crits welcome.

Yes the scene is a lot darker now, if i recall correctly that map (what's it's name?) has light fixtures, you should brighten up the scene a bit, place the fixtures to give the scene a bit more of "feel", if you want to leave the environment blue then leave it but invert the bump maps beca...
