it wont change what it says for the flamethrower as long as you duplicate it and edit the duplicated one. as for the "something should go here" it just says that in hex and you can change that.

Thanks to Rafazum Z for giving me some pointers. I decided to write this so no one makes a custom weapon that still says "Picked up a Pistol" when you pick it up. First off you will need a Hex Editor. I recommend xvi32 which can be downloaded here: http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/fre...

also make sure that the weight is set to 100. not sure what that does but it does work.

im guessing its just one of the windows taking up the whole space. try minimizing that window in sapien and you should be able to see the rest. or go to view and see what windows you have open

you have to run radiosity:
hit the ~ (tilda) key
type radiosity_quality 1
type radiosity_start
wait till numbers read 0 0 0
type radiosity_save

it doesnt matter if they start at 0.0000 it just means radiosity was done quick so don't bother steps 4 and up

the modifier stack is where it says editable mesh. in the drop down box scroll to stl check
