okay so your new maps are in your halo2/maps folder right? with the main menu? and all the stock maps.... If you can't do it that way via softmod my bad i hardmod all my crap.

so far it doesn't seem like to complex of a mod but it seems to be going well, keep it up don't let h2 modding die completely.

P.S. i have 2 maps that i never completed if anyone wants them, Lockout = SwampOut just needs new weapons etc. and i think i have a h3 style turf map as well.

yea one covers while the other reloads also on the Left 4 Dead deal this did come out before Left 4 Dead so could it be said they stole the idea from WaW?

looks like most of the map on Sandbox is probably underground because from that pic if that's the whole of the map its gona suck :cry:

Well from the trailers that have come out, this game starts with humanity taking back Harvest and it counties i think all the way to the fall of Reach. it would make more sense to use elites, because this is in halo 2 not halo 3. But that doesn't mean bungie didn't just use the brutes again or maybe its brute's and elites vs you.

actually its rumored someone master the conversions from h2v to h2x so you create a map using h2v's map maker then convert the format to xbox but its just a rumor but to flat out model a brand new map then overlay it on oh say waterworks bsp is impossible im afraid.
