Question about .gif images...

Whenever I create a .gif image, it always looses quality. It becomes all "pixel-ish" and looks horible. Is there some process that allows me to make .gif images with good quality? Im using Photoshop CS2 v9.

I am able to get the turret of the warthog to spawn at a weapon spawn, but the problem is that it spawns in the air a little and so when it drops it falls over.
