HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

when your making maps you know. i know your supposoed to put the ground texture you used in gmax or 3ds into your bitmaps folder as "yourmapname_ground" but what about the other textures? i did more than one texture in there and in tool it gives me a command list of what to do with my bitm...

umm. yeah my other maps work fine in ce but the ones i make dont. i think i only allwed slayer anyway. im gona try n make another map when i have the time.

ahh. i was talking to some guy on halo and he said my graphic driver sucks. i guess it overloads. lol. i guess i will never make a map...

i dont really know what im looking for though. i have a dimension 2400. do you think you could help me find what i need?

oo! i finnaly made a map! im soo happy. i put in the halo cd, got to halo custom edition, click on my map and..... damn! gathering exception data! why? i thought i did everything right. what went wrong. i followed yayap the grunts tutorial found on halomaps.com. his didnt show exception data!

thanks. i put it in my signature box but i dont know if its working. i went to gimp.com but dont know what to download cause theres so much junk on the download page. what would i download to make signatures and skins for halo maps?

i did it! i made the map! im going to try it out later though cause im gonna take a nap. im pretty shure i made shaders. if not then ill make a new map

yay! this morning i was messing around with sapien and i can see the map but cant see the textures. the ground is kinda all brownish pixelized sorta... and when i try and add a tag it dosnt let me add anything even though i doo add , ok, done nothing shows up!

im trying to download gimp so i can make my own but i dont know how. theres so much stuff and i dont know what to download!

thanks. i'll use it until i ever figure out gimp. witch could be years from now.

i dont have photoshop or anything cool to make pictures with so if theres somebody who has time and is bored or somthing can you just make somthing cool with my name on it?

sweet. is it hard to make you own computer? cause if its not that hard then i will ask someone to help me with it. i have a couple people i know that know things about computers. how much does a good graphic card cost?

then how can i upload my own pictures into 90x90? i cant find any website to change it into URL other then the site the rules suggest. anywhere i can do it?

my avatar is 100x75... is that okay? cause the rules and regs sugested to use image shack and i did but it only goes down to 100x75. if its not okay then ill delete it

*looks in front of computer* what? i see a big black box that says "dell" on it... give me an example. is it like pentium 4 proccesor? is that a graphic card? i'll have to really pry my parents for the manual cause they think halo is messing with the computer lol.
