I have photoshop CS2 and I installed the dds plugin and am trying to convert a jpeg file to a dds file. I saved it using the settings somebody showed on here in a screen capture of the nvidia dxt thing.....And people wrote thanking him so I assume those settings are correct. What happens is it keeps...

Does anybody know of any tutorials about the whole process that you could direct me to? If not, my biggest question is...Is there any particular size or dimensions anything that the pictures have to be converted to? I know they have to be converted to dll files but that's all I know...

I just checked and there aren't any options in the halo menu having to do with auto sign in or something, and i can't try to sign into xbox live cause there aren't any accounts registered. It just gives me the option of st arting a new account or not logging in

it's fine if i plug it back in after I log in...but I prefer not to have to reach behind everything and unplug it everytime i log in

It does this with a completely fresh mainmenu. I deleted all halo related stuff, even mimesis and extra maps and everything and recopied halo onto the hdd and with a brand new halo it still freezes. yeah i also have a problem with it freezing, but not when i select halo 2....A lot of hte time when i try to select a map to download it just freezes and does nothing, or sometimes it does bring up the progress bar but stays at zero. Takes a few reboots before i can get one to download. Took me all ...

hmm i was under the impression that maps in your tdata folders were a completely separate thing from ones in your maps folder....Like, you could fill up all 49 slots in dothalo plus have as many maps in tdata as you wanted

I downloaded the mimesis maps a few weeks ago and it worked great, everything was fine, until I downloaded a map pack recently and installed that...and they ALL disappeared at first. Does anybody know how to change the words on the main menu screen in halo 2 where it normally says Halo 2 in the middle of the screen while it zooms around the blue foggy city? I downloaded a map pack that changed it to something else, which gave me an idea for my own title.

I recently installed the Halo 2 Launcher app which lets you select whether you want to run 1.0 or the 1.1 AU version when you start up halo. Well I've seen a couple people saying they did it....I downloaded a map pack that was supposed to add that as well, but it gave me a dirty disk error so I installed the maps all one by one without using their autopatcher and so I didn't get it.

Excuse me? What do you mean? If you just don't like halo modding, I was refering to modified maps and adding options like multiple tanks and stuff like that. I don't don't cheat or anything like that.
