HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

So im thinkin bout makin a paintball mod so when u shoot master chief the blood that comes out will be multicolored, i saw effects\decals\blood_splats\bitmaps\blood_splat and was wondering if this is the only thing i need to edit to chang the blood or if there is somthing else.
