haha um ok.... i think i read it somewhere a while ago. if you make a ton of scenery objects that can break, it starts to lag, so the breakable glass is built into the scenario.

but yea i still need some help with my problem...

nice level. the bases look cool. i cant tell what the layout is exactly, so i just have to hope its good. but yes, u do have to connect everything and make it all sealed. that means no overlapping faces. looks like u might have quite a project fixing all of that up, but who knows. and for the ladder...

uh it looks like ur gonna have a billion errors when u try to compile the bsp. the textures look good and such, but id start fixing up ur level geometry b4 u get to the point where it will take days to sit there and just fix it

problems with animated scenery (elevators)

ok im running into some problems and i need some help. for me at least, when i make an elevator go up rly high rly quickly, it has to take a step of lets say 10 units up every frame. in-game, this would cause it to go so fast that you cant jump on, because the elevator would jump through u too quick...
