Well other people wouldnt see unless they had a copy of your mod, and it is possible just get Halo Hacker Tools (HHT) and in the frag grenade explosion effect, change the dependencies to something like 3 tank shell explosions, and they just turn down damage. i have a cordless logitec wingman rumble pad, probably the best controller out there, but when playing halo, gamepads just dont cut it, aiming is just horrible, but i like buttons on controllers better. yeah swapping the blood effect with an explosion effect would just make mc explode everytime he gets shot. and i dont think dropping nades would work.

yeah except the warthog horn is tied to the crouch button, and i dont think it has anyhing to do with secondary fire

Copying weapons in a map

Is there a way to make a copy of a tag in a pc map, like have two pistols, one that fires normal, and one that shoots lets say plasma rifle shots, but WITHOUT overwriting a different weapon or tag. I think theres a utility but i cant find.

well what about decoy he said he could do it in pc
and ce maps can be opened like ce maps, alls you need is a halo map version converter and youd be able to edit a ce map like a pc one. what i wanna know is how decoy got the babbling ai fired from a gun to do anything.

the new Pillar Of Autumn map for CE, lets you fly one no problem. it lets you walk up into the cockpit, then you enter.

if its in CE they could be using debug camera to move around in a vehicle, but in normal, they just used sparkedit and added teleporters and guns around the map

im finally starting to use 3dsmax7 and im trying to follow the HEK tutorial that came with the download, but im not liking it, and i've searched but there aren't and real good in-depth tutorials like that one, but i really want to learn to make a map in 3dsmax.

Changing Starting Map Weapons In Hex

i saw a post 3 days ago about Halo 2, where someone wanted to change the starting weapons for a map, and someone posted back a list of values and where you'd change them in the map file in Hex. I was wondering if you could change starting weapons in Hex for Halo PC? I'll try and find a link.

yes i do mean editing but i dont want to replace the weapons.
there was a topic in the xbox forums where some one had a list of values and the area where you change them in hex, so you could make any weapon your starting one.
