either a problem with the mesh of the map/model or the textures...if using the multi-material thing, remove all of the blank materials that are not used (just from that multi-object group).

ps if that doesnt make sense, i can post a pic

to Katarn: I know everything definantly isnt up to par...but hopefully the next weapon (which i am trying to find) that i will model next will be because i will have had more practice...ps: the vid tutorials rule, but you need more tuts on uvw unwrapping...
