go to channels, next to layers, and make a new channel. itll automatically be correctly set up as an alpha channel. now just paste your terrain into that channel, repaint it black & white, then run a blur filter. save it as a tif, it will now work just like kirk4s tutorial from there on.

im sure its a materials problem and has nothing to do with your new base. check to see if the 960 face/edge problems have a texture in common. i had a similar thing happen to a peice of scenery when i attached a new piece to it and it messed up my material count, cleaning up the texture settings fix...

i like it, but i think you should bolden some of the lines a bit. the tron stuff has quite a bit of variance in the line thicknesses. check out the screens for the tron 2.0 video game, that should give you some new blood for your demonic skin making rituals (how else could you be so good at it?).

the mc skins work like so: there is the "cyborg" texture which is the basic texture and the "cyborg multipurpose" which is the coloring texture. cyborg multipurpose is just different tones of blue, which halo replaces with the color that you choose. i dont know if it is currently...
