Yo, I know HOW to apply it, but what map do I apply it to?

This is going to sound HORRIBLY noobish, but.. what do I apply the SPPF to?

I've tried with both DotHalo and ADI. DotHalo with the new plugins, too. I can't edit my HLMT-- PERIOD. I go into it, it's just blank for raw data editor and tag editor. Can someone PLEASE tell me why this is? And maybe how to fix it? Thanks.
