I think that there are no nightvision or flashlights only in the multiplayer levels. Im not sure, i havent checked all of the levels. You're deffinitely wrong. They are in a ppf file, and you use a patching program to patch the .map file with the .ppf file and load the patched .map back onto your xbox, assuming you have one. Not in Gmax use HHHT (helpful halo hacking tool) that I believe you can find on this website to apply the ppf's to your map files. Go...

Ghost = no nightvision?
Anyone know why when there is a ghost in the level there is no nightvision or flashllights? This is true at least for bloodgulch.

pretty much any modchip will work. The chip is pretty much for loading a different bios so you can run unsigned software on the xbox. I use an xbit because I was an idiot and paid too much. I suppose someday it may be nice to have the 2mb flash though. check out xbox-scene.com for more detailed info...
